Read the topic on "The pros and cons of RFID in supply chain management".

Consider how RFID might be applied to the supply chain of any supermarket or retail store in Australia. (For example Woolworths, Coles, Aldi or IGA or Kmart, Big W or Target)

Discuss in detail the advantages and disadvantages of using RFID for a specific element of the company's supply chain eg. Fruit or cereal or any area of the supermarket or retail store.

Discuss how the ideas in the journal articles influence the thinking of this company.

 

Make a recommendation, identifying the supply chain benefits of the use of RFID.
