Alisha, an attorney, enters into a contract with Clint, her client, whereby Clint agrees to sell her 10,000 shares of IBM Company stock at $20 per share, the market value of the shares at the time of the contract. A month after the transfer of the shares, the price of the stock climbs to $40 per share due to conditions that were not foreseeable by Alisha or Clint at the time of their contract. Clint, upon learning of the doubling in value of the shares, decides that Alisha took advantage of their relationship and sues to have the contract voided. What result? Explain. Be sure to use the name of any legal theory that dictates your analysis.
