The following is a SWOT analysis of a food distribution center. One strength of the food distribution center is that it has multiple leaders who can transition and fill in when others are not available. Another Strength that they have is having different sources to receive food or donations from. A weakness of the food distribution center is that it has very few hours that it is open during a month. In addition, the distribution center only has a few workers, so when one person is missing it can disrupt the flow of it. The disruption of the flow means that it takes longer than usual to complete the tasks and service the clients. Holidays are an opportunity when more people try to donate to help people who are in need. During the holidays more businesses are willing to provide unique items that we do not typically have or items that we are in need of. Another opportunity we have is to have open communication and the ability to receive feedback from our clients which allows us to improve our organization. Losing suppliers is a threat to the food distribution center because without the suppliers we have to tap into.
