Construct a 90% confidence interval for the difference between the two population proportions.

The CEO of the company would like to find out if Canadians like his company on January 1, 2001. Of the 1002 Canadians surveyed, 551 said yes. When the same question was asked on July 1, 2002, 541 of the 1002 Canadians surveyed said yes.

a. Test whether the proportion of Canadians who like his company has changed since January 1, 2001 at a 0.05 significance level.

b. Construct a 90% confidence interval for the difference between the two population proportions.
