1. To develop a schedule for a project, we will use the concept of a project network, which shows work activities taken from the work breakdown structure and organized according to the logical flow in time and relationships governing when the work will be performed. You are to prepare a paper in which you discuss the information needed to construct the network and what types of information can we learn about the project by reviewing the project network with particular attention to the process of identifying the critical path? You are also to define what the critical path is and why it is important for the project manager to know what the critical path is. You are also to discuss what slack is and why it is important for the project manager to know where slack exists. Submit the paper to the dropbox.

2. The Risk Management process is comprised of four phases. You are to prepare a paper that discusses what each phase is comprised of; what the objective of each phase is; and the outputs of each phase. You are also to discuss the role of contingency plans and the role of the change management process. You are to submit the paper to the dropbox.
