The concept of empowerment involves shared leadership. Empowering people at various levels actually increases an organization's ability to capitalize on talents at all levels of the organization and may lead to a competitive advantage. Figure 7-2 in the text summarizes nine leadership practices that may lead to effective empowerment. Locate a current events or magazine article from the past year related to a business organization or business leader that has successfully implemented leadership practices for empowerment.

Write two well-written paragraphs regarding the article you select.
