In a study dealing with violence between factions in the Middle East, one goal was to compare measures of depression for two groups of young males. In the first group, no family member was wounded or killed by someone belonging to the opposite faction, and the measures were
22,23,12,11,30,22,7,42,24,33,28,19,4,34,15,26,50,27,20,30,14,42.

The second group consisted of young males who had a family member killed or wounded. The observed measures were
17, 22, 16, 16, 14, 29, 20, 20, 19, 14, 10, 8, 26, 9, 14, 17, 21, 16, 14, 11, 14, 11, 29, 13, 4, 16, 16, 7, 21.

Test the hypothesis of equal means with Student's t test with α = .05 and compute a .95 confidence interval.
