A patient has come in to see your for a regularly scheduled check-up. She is curious about an advertisement she saw on television for a genetic test to screen for health issues. She asks you whether or not she should get the test done.

As a health care provider, you need to provide your patient with the pros and cons of the having such a test conducted.
