Using the restaurant McDonald's as the work setting:

1. Customer satisfaction can be considered to one of the key drivers behind the systematic and sustained drive of organizations to implement "Lean." Regardless of the sector in which you may have been employed, or are employed, identify three (3) things that customers expect (or expected) from your organization and what can be done - or is done - to ensure that their expectation are met time after time. Keep in mind that ultimately you want to minimize waste, and increase process efficiencies. [You are aiming for a "win-win" outcome to benefit the vendor as well as the customer.]

2. Of the seven techniques illustrated to reduce lead time and improve flow, could any or all of them be applied to your work setting? If so, which ones? If not, why not? Provide a rational explanation on the utility of each of the techniques to the work setting you have chosen to optimize "Lean" by reducing lead time.
