The Ethics Analysis Paper or Final Paper will be the culmination of learning from the Philosophy Papers. Students will summarize the six most prominent ethics frameworks (Deontology-Kant, Utilitarianism-Hume, Justice Virtue-Rawls, Virtuosity-Aristotle, Care Ethics-Gilligan, and Environmental Ethics) in the introduction portion of the paper (or before each macro and micro section in the Main Points portion of the paper).

Additionally, in the introduction portion of the paper, students will introduce an issue, prominent at the macro and micro level, and discuss briefly the reasoning for deciding on that issue. In the Main Points portion of the paper, students will analyze the ethics of the issue at both the macro and micro level using the ethics frameworks; each framework will have its own subheading in the body of the paper. The specific position for policy development, at either or both the macro or micro level, will be discussed in the conclusion of the paper.
