Suppose the mean quarterback rating per game is 52.1 with σ = 16.7. There is some speculation that rule changes benefiting receivers have also increased quarterback ratings.

In a random sample of 34 quarterback 2012 season ratings, the sample mean was = 57.09. Is there any evidence to suggest that the true mean quarterback rating has increased? Use a = 0.05 and compute the p value.
