Two streams of water are mixed in a steady-state process: one stream of 15 kg/s at 950C and asecond stream of undetermined flow at 250C. It is desired to produce a product stream at atemperature of 750C. The mixing vessel is not well-insulated and heat is lost at a rate of 1.0 kW. Donot assume that the heat capacity value is constant.(a) What is the flowrate of the 250C stream and the 750C stream?(b) If the mixing vessel was perfectly insulated, what would be the temperature of theproduct stream if the flows are the same as in part (a)? Ignore any mixing effects. (c)Repeat parts (a) and (b) for another liquid of your own choosing. Specify the liquid andthe source for your heat capacity values.
