The ternary compounds called chlorofluorocarbons, or Freons, have proved to be very valuable as refrigerants and as cleaning agents for circuit boards. Unfortunately, in the atmosphere these compounds produce chlorine atoms that catalyze the decomposition of the ozone that protects the earth from ultraviolet radiation. One of these compounds has the following mass percentages: 8.73% C and 13.83%F. What is the empirical formula of this compound? (If, for example, the compound was C2Cl3F, then one would input `C2Cl3F' - no spaces, no commas, proper case for the letters in the atomic symbols, and alphabetical order of the elements is required here.)
