The components of a 11.3 mg sample are sufficiently separated by a chromatographic column that is 1.0 cm in diameter and 50 cm long with a flow rate of 0.57 mL/min. In order to separate 261 mg of the sample with similar separation of the components, what size column, diameter and length, should be used? And what volume flow rate should be used?
