A TLC chromatographic system is prepared using a silica coated plate and the non-polar solvent hexane. Two samples are spotted onto the plate and developed as in the laboratory experiment. THe Rf of the two samples are: 1.)=0.02 and 2.)=1.0 respectively. What is the elution order if these same compounds are separated on a silica column using a polar solvent such as water?
