A tetrapeptide is composed of Phe, Met, and Cys. Treatment with cyanogen bromide, which cleaves on the carboxy side of methione, produced three products: free Met, free Phe, and a dipeptide. Treatment with chymotrypsin, which cleaves on the carboxy side phenylalanine gave only the tetrapeptide. What is the amino acid sequence for this tetrapeptide?
