Question

Stakeholder: Assembly Line Workers

Assembly line workers are directly involved in the production process. The introduction of AI could potentially lead to job losses or require them to acquire new skills to work alongside AI. They might argue against the implementation of AI due to fear of job loss and the need for retraining. They might also argue for better job security measures and training programs to adapt to the new technology. Their reasoning is based on economic security and job preservation. They might feel threatened by the introduction of AI, which could replace their roles or require them to learn new skills. The values informing their perspectives include job security, economic stability, and the right to fair labor practices. The level of stasis theory at which the assembly line workers argue is "definition" and "quality". They disagree on the definition of what constitutes fair labor practices and the quality of work life in the face of AI implementation. They might disagree with company management who might argue for the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of AI. The disagreement lies in the potential impact on job security and the need for retraining.
