Sport Small-Business Plan
Made a small business plan (or most of its components) based on an idea of a business that you would like to start. We are going to start extremely simple and on a small scale. Your business could be internet based, store-front, service provider, non-profit, or mission based organization.
Example: Phil Knight (Nike) first started with an assignment, just like this one, while he was working on his MBA. He borrowed money from his father to buy the first sample of shoes from Japan (which took a year to ship). After showing his former Oregon track and field coach, Bill Bowerman, they both put up $500 each to form Blue Ribbon Sports, which later became Nike.
A Few parameters:
-The business must be sport or recreation related.
-The business should have a low start up cost (bootstrapped). For the simplicity of the assignment, start up cost should be less than $50K (preferably $5-10K) and you (or a partner) should retain 100% equity.
