Question

Michelle is at her daughter's soccer game. She works as a paralegal at ABC law firm. She sits next to Kathy, who is watching her daughter play soccer. Kathy was recently injured in a car accident and has a cast on her leg. Michelle asks Kathy what happened to her leg. Kathy tells Michelle the whole story and explains she was "hit from behind". Michelle tells Kathy she works for a personal injury firm and that she has a good case. Kathy responds, " I have an attorney, but he is doing nothing to help me." Michelle tells Kathy to fire her attorney and come to ABC firm. Michelle gives Kathy her business card with name, address, phone number and email address on it. Michelle tells Kathy her first appointment will be free. Discuss the legal issues with this scenario.
