SLPWireless and Remote Access Security

SLP assignments for the course will build a security plan for a company or organization selected by the student. This SLP assignment will add the following to the security plan:

• Wireless and Remote Access Security Plan
• VPN Design
• Data Transmission Security Plan

SLP Assignment Expectations

This part of your plan should include the following:

NOTE: You should add this new content to the document submitted for the previous module SLP assignment.

• An updated title page with class number and name, project name, your name, and the date.
• An updated Table of Contents with the major sections of the document (note that this document will be expanded with each SLP assignment).
• Wireless and Remote Access Security Plan: Discuss how remote and wireless connections to the company network will be implemented securely. Include a discussion of the type of encryption to be used and the major components of the remote access system.
• VPN Design: Describe the plan for VPN access to the company network.
• Data Transmission Security Plan: Discuss how data transmitted on open portions of the network will be protected.
• An updated reference page as an appendix.
• The new content for the document should be 3-4 DBL spaced pages, excluding the title page, TOC, and reference page.
• The document will be assessed based on your ability to adequately address the assignment requirements.
