Skills and Attributes of a Manager: How to Implement

The case study:

Prepare a plan for your approach to management that includes the skills and attributes a manager must possess. In this plan, explain how you would implement each function of management in your role as a manager.

The solution examples how any successful manager leads by example. Exhibiting the behavior expected of others garners respect; rather than "Do as I say, not as I do". Additionally, employees should be treated fairly, without the manager playing "favorites" amongst a select few. Consistency in management style will assist in building both trust and respect.
