John is the manager of a company's intranet, and his staff maintains 15 web sites for different divisions. John's group is part of the technology division reporting to Steve Williams. These websites support different books with various publishing areas. A project manager, Sally, in Division Six developed and launched a new web site for that group without consulting John's internet department. Normally this would not be an issue, however significant errors were made in the site development that are quickly leading to access issues for consumers. The manager of Division Six had assumed the project was being run through John's division and is very upset. What should John do?
