Testing for Population mean.

A manufacturer produces TV tubes that are intended to have an average life of 580 hours. Random samples of 15 tubes are regularly selected from the production line to test for any significant change in the population mean. If a particular sample of 15 tubes has a mean life of 573 hours and a sample standard deviation of 30 hours, test at a significance level ofa = 0.05 to determine if there has been a significant change in the population mean.
