In short the Trading House conducts LNG Vessel KYC on all vessels: 1. A full scale KYC process on vessels it's has a direct shipping contract with, Charter Parties etc. 2. A scaled back KYC process and checks on LNG Vessel that have been nominated by its counterparts- I.e. whom it is buying cargoes from on a ex- ship (DES) basis , these cargoes are often a part of chain (various buyers and sellers and it is difficult to identify the party that has the ultimate shipping contract with the LNG vessel owner).
