After reading the below give a brief summary or reply concerning the risks associated with leveling resources, compressing or crashing projects, and imposed durations or “catch-up” as the project is being implemented?

Leveling resources – A technique where slack is adjusted or eliminated which blurs the lines between noncritical and critical stages. The main point of this technique is to level resources across an entire project. Risks in this include having limited slack time which can result in a project being delayed should a conflict arise and there is no buffer time.

Compressing or crashing projects – Risks with this technique include a project going over budget by adding or shifting resources in order to shorten the project timeline.

Imposed durations or catch-up – Risks with this include the project going over budget in order to meet deadlines that have expected start and end dates. More resources may have to be added to portions of the project to ensure timely completion which can risk going over budget.
