Q. On April 14, 1994, Bill Shaw, retired policeman, offered to sell Thurgood his 1965 Mustang convertible for= $1,000. Thur good responded, "That is a ridiculous price for a 30 year old car - forget it!" Later, Thurgood told friend about offer, also friend tells him car is worth at least $3,500. Thurgood immediately telephones Shaw also says, "I have reconsidered also I accept your offer." Shaw says, "Forget it. The price is now= $3,500." If Thurgood prosecutes Shaw for breaking of contract, will he be winning?
