2. Suppose that the researcher in Problem 4, while presenting her results at a conference, said the following: "Interestingly, the obtained correlation was negative. That is, there is a slight tendency for children of higher socioeconomic backgrounds to be lower in self-esteem." What would be your response to this interpretation?
