Considering all the competitive advantages of our competitors and our business as well as consumer lifestyle, our customer target will be people who are conscious about their health. During the pandemic of COVID-19, more and more people are gradually changing their lifestyle by exercising and choosing healthier options for meals (Lempert 2020). In other words, our bakery will offer a healthier version of traditional souffles compared to available competitors, which means we will use less sugar or substitute with natural and low GI sugar, we will replace sugary toppings as much as possible and replace them with fresh fruits and nuts as our toppings. Furthermore, as more people swap their diets into plant-based diets (O'Connor 2022), we also have vegan options for our souffle, which we believe that our competitors do not have, with the same taste and toppings but without eggs and dairy products.
Our souffle shop will be located in the CBD and mainly focus on grab and go but we will also have few tables for quick dine in customers. Moreover, customers can easily order our products on most delivery platforms including: Ubereat, Doordash and so on. By doing that, we hope that our products will reach out to more consumers who enjoy desserts but still can maintain healthy lifestyles.
