His/her role requires non-interference and non-judgement and supposes easing the parties involved towards awareness of each other's arguments and therefore readiness to find a win-win solution. His/her role requires being the representative of the company and its HR and legal teams to pass on an assessment before the company offers a solution. His/her role requires a more directive approach and style, negotiating for the parties within the constraints of the law and ultimately proposing solutions.
