For this assessment, you will assume the role of a Digital Marketing Consultant who has been hired to run a marketing campaign for a client. Each scenario below is an email from your client with some details outlining their campaign requirements. Select two of the three cases below to provide an email response that details how you could achieve their goals, and what would be required in order to do what they ask. For example, you would explain how a pixel would need to be used to collect data, or what considerations would be needed to ensure compliance with CASL. Please refer to the grading rubric for more details on how to receive full marks.

  1. Hi, I am opening up a new yoga studio downtown and I want to run a digital advertising campaign to attract new customers. I have a $10,000 budget and want to use Facebook ads to drive traffic to my website. I also want to send emails inviting people for a free class. I also have my website set up so I can sell membership packages direct on my website. I want to make sure I'm doing re-marketing to anyone who comes to my website and doesn't purchase a membership. I have a friend who has given me an email list of people in the area who have purchased yoga pants from the Lululemon location around the corner from the studio, I think this would be a great targeted audience for us, can you please find a way to include it in your campaign?
  2. Hi, I am an insurance broker and I'm looking to get people to fill out a form to request a quote from me. I sell many different kinds of insurance from home to life to travel and auto, and there are many different kinds of people I need to target, so I want to somehow make lists of who is interested in what kind of insurance so I can send them emails that are relevant to them. How would I go about getting started with this kind of a campaign?
