She has noted other incidences of memory lapses such as his forgetfulness of recent events and disorientation of time, place, and situation. (Learning Objectives 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) Mr. Edwards' daughter asks "I don't know what to do. I work and I can't stay with Dad 24 hours a day." What items of help could you offer to the daughter? What is important for the nurse to remember in talking with Mr. Edwards? Mr. Edward's daughter is concerned about medications being ordered for her father.
