As a Senior Sergeant and Deputized Inspector General, I am entrusted with the responsibility to uphold the Army Values, the NCO Creed, my Oath of Enlistment/Reenlistment, and the Oath of the Inspector General. As an IG Professional, it is my duty to foster an Army culture where stewardship, accountability, integrity, efficiency, and good order and discipline are not just the norm, but the expectation. These principles are not mere words, they are the bedrock of our ARCENT IG Mission Statement and are embodied in our current IG SOP. In my capacity as the Team Chief, I am dedicated to ensuring these principles are upheld by establishing clear performance expectations, offering regular feedback, and nurturing an environment where every team member feels valued and heard. I am confident that by doing so, we will not only meet our professional goals but surpass them. As the Chief of Inspections, I would like to take this opportunity to outline a few specific duties and responsibilities associated with my role as it pertains to Assistant IG's. I am tasked with guiding and mentoring the Assistant IG's, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. I am also responsible for monitoring their performance and providing constructive feedback to help them grow and improve in their roles. I am committed to leading by example, demonstrating the Army Values in all my actions, and fostering a culture of integrity.
