November 27th 2013, marked another milestone in Dubai’s history, with the emirates becoming the first in the MENA region to secure the hosting rights for the World Expo 2020. In its 163 year long history, the World Expo had proven beneficial for host economies as well as for participating nations. Given its positive impact on the trade, GDP, infrastructural development and employment creation, the mega-event was looked upon as a way of strengthening host economies and providing them with an international platform to showcase their prowess. The mega event augmented global confidence in Dubai on the one side, and on the other, it was expected to push the economy’s output up by 2% annually.

Requirements:
