Question

As a manager the main principles I would most relate to are respect for persons and equality. These are important principles to have because it provides a strong foundation that is built on trust, support, and fairness across the board. Starting off with respect for persons, this is broken down into four elements: autonomy, truth telling, confidentiality, and fidelity. Autonomy allows an individual to learn as they go and on their own terms but still providing support and guidance. Truth telling means providing clear and upfront communication to allow transparency and a trustworthy bond. Confidentiality provides a safe place and open-door policy while knowing a person can be honest and not feel ashamed or worried about judgment. Lastly, fidelity, which highlights accountability and sets a tone of respect that goes a long way and would not be compromised due to any inconvenience. When it comes to equality, the main idea is treating everyone as equals. This means not putting anyone at a higher status or at a higher respect level than those who may not hold the same title. This also allows for an environment to be without discrimination and ensures equal opportunities.
