This assignment addresses the following outcome:

Create an original research paper using the methodological practice of gathering, sifting, analyzing, ordering, synthesizing, and interpreting evidence .

Over the course of the term, you have been working toward completion of the assignment that is due by the end of Module 7. In Module 3, you selected a topic of study.

Then, in Module 5, you submitted an annotated bibliography. Now, you are charged with putting it all together and submitting the formal paper that will serve as the product of all of your research.

While the organization of your paper is largely up to you and largely dependent on your topic and sources, there are some basic requirements.

These include either in-text citations (APA-style) or notes (footnotes or endnotes are acceptable if using Chicago style) throughout the body of the paper.

The paper should be around 2,000-2,250 words (8-9 pages).
