You work for a manufacturing company that produces nails and bolts on an assembly line. You report to your supervisor for your team that is solely responsible for producing nails. In your role, you have a very specific job on the assembly line and you follow the rules and procedures very closely. Your supervisor reports to an operations manager who in turn reports to the VP of operations. Largely decisions are made at the VP level and then communicated down through the employees. Using this scenario as an example, define and comment on each of the following: work specialization, chain of command, centralization/decentralization and formalization.
