Each student is responsible for writing a four-page report on the journey of a real product you can buy at a store, detailed likely steps from manufacture site to retail store or wholesaler. This report should be double spaced and 12-point font. The focus of this paper is for the student to write about each stage of the supply chain that the product travels through with a focus on purchasing functions at each step in the chain. Students should ensure they discuss costs and functions associated with each step in the supply chain, how organizations figure out price of the product and any other relevant information that provides the story of the product from a purchasing perspective.
