Research Project Overview
The word "research" originates from the medieval French word 'rechercher', meaning "to seek closely." In its most general sense, research involves investigating a topic to learn more about it. Typically, one conducts research to answer questions. Often, as one learns more about a topic, initial questions generate additional questions.
Sometimes the purpose of research is simply to increase one's factual knowledge-for example, learning how to hire a contractor in the State of Florida or looking up the difference between a marketer and a public relations professional. More often, however, research involves going beyond mere fact collecting, requiring one to analyze or interpret the information gathered and draw conclusions from it. A research paper thus usually includes a thesis statement that claims the topic, followed by evidence to make a persuasive argument.
You are required to submit a minimum of 6 pages (Title Page, Reference Page, and 4 Pages (1000 words) of content), APA formatted paper with substantial content. Substantial content requires staying on topic and fully addressing the assignment in a clear, concise, and meaningful manner. Please review your paper for grammar and punctuation errors.
