Task
As a group, you are required to review the information provided at the start of the class. Conduct the necessary computations and thoroughly analyse your findings.
Assessment Description
This group case study is designed to test your ability to apply the knowledge gained. It will also help you develop writing strategies to present accounting information while working in teams effectively.
Assessment Instructions
Part A: Group Work
Form groups of 2 or 3 students (maximum) and identify a group leader
The group leader must email your lecturer with the names and student numbers of all group members by Week 8
Students who have difficulty forming groups must inform their lecturer by Week 4. Your lecturer will assist you in creating a group.
Your lecturer has discretion to re-arrange groups that are not correctly formed.
Answer the questions included in the Assessment 2 Details document, which will be available in class during Workshop 9.
This case study must be attempted as a group, with all team members actively participating. Any team members not participating may be awarded zero marks.
Part B: Individual Reflection:
Reflect on your contribution to the team project with a focus on specific accounting concepts. Answer the following questions in a concise essay:
How did you apply specific concepts to the project?
The challenges and successes in utilising these methods to enhance the team's analysis and recommendations?
The impact of these approaches on your personal contribution and the overall project outcome, as well as potential improvements for future teamwork applications.
