Consider the following two redox reactions in the nitrogen cycle:

a. NH4+  + O2  = NO3-  (Nitrification)

b. NO3- + CH2O = N2O + CO2  (Denitrification)

Both are currently unbalanced. Using the " half reactions method", balance both of the equations, and be sure to show all of your work.
