Read the Code of Ethics for the state of Florida (Code of Ethics of the Education Profession)_prior to completing the following. Then choose two of the four scenarios and write a brief explanation of the situation including stating whether it is ethical or not. Provide the reason for your choice and give the part of the statute that supports your choice.

Scenario 1

The Economics Club collected $25,000 for a special project. They money was then turned in to the secretary that handles all the monies at the school. The secretary and economics teacher decided to take $5,000 each to pay themselves for their hard work.

Scenario 2

Mr. Lakes is the principal at Fabulous High School. He decides to suspend Ermine and Cynthia five days for fighting. Cynthia's mom works at American Airlines and promises to give Mr. Lakes a free ticket to the Babamas if he does not suspend her daughter. Mr. Lakes then accepts the deal and destroys Cynthia's suspensions papers

Scenario 3

While taking the FCAT examination, the teacher would monitor students by walking around the classroom. When she observes a student selecting the wrong answer, she immediately points to the correct one and the student then selects the appropriate answer.

Scenario 4

According to the school's policy, a student receiving an F& in any of his/her classes will be ineligible to play sports. Joaquin, a football player, receives an 'F& in Mrs. Fain's Social Studies class. Mr. Quinton, therefore, changes Joaquin's grade in order for him to play since he is the star of the football team.
