Read "Judging in a Democratic State," the 2004 remarks of the Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin, C.J. (as she then was), on the Supreme Court of Canada website and answer the three questions below in an essay of no more than 1,000 words. Remember to start with an introduction, followed by a proper reference to McLachlin's speech. The body/main part of your essay should answer the three questions in separate sections with separate headings. Use sub-headings for each myth in Question 1. You should reference parts of her speech and any other material you may wish to include when answering Question 3. Please end with a one-paragraph short conclusion that summarizes your findings and opinions.
