Figure above shows a single-line diagram of a three-phase, 60 Hz synchronous generator, connected through a transformer and parallel transmission lines to an infinite bus. All reactances are given in pu on a common system base: Xd' =0.3; X12 = 0.2; X13 = 0.1; X23 = 0.2; Xtr = 0.1; Vbus = 1.0. The synchronous generator delivers 0.9 pu real power at 1.08 pu terminal voltage.

Determine: a) The reactive power output of the generator b) The generator internal voltage (delta). dc) An equation for the electrical power delivered by the generator versus power angle
