Case Study: Walkers Wood Caribbean foods is a Jamaican food spice manufacturing company seeking to expand its distribution of pepper sauces into the Latin American market to serve Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. Additionally, to meet its goal the company has had to increase its production schedule significantly. Notably, the company gets its glass bottles which are raw materials used to make their product from a manufacturing company in Beijing China.

Therefore, Walkers Wood has ordered twenty thousand glass bottles to meet their new target however they need to have four thousand bottles arriving at the manufacturing plant in the next two weeks and the remaining shipment to come in the next six weeks
