Develop a 10 day production schedule for 8 products, starting with Tuesday, March 19 and then convert them to actual production orders. As we discussed in class, Production has to schedule the recommended planning orders in such a manner that production capacity (16,000 a day) is fully utilized and set-up costs are minimized. Every time you change package sizes, you will incur delay and setup costs.
