Process mapping simply involves describing processes in terms of how the activities within the process relate to each other. There are many techniques which can be used for process mapping (or process blueprinting or process analysis, as it is sometimes called). However, all the techniques identify the different types of activity that take place during the process and show the flow of materials or people or information through the process.
1. Identify an organization(provide all important issues about the organization including vision, mission, value, operational activities, organizational structure and identify a process or service within the organization and map the process or service using process mapping symbols.
2. How might the process be improved from your (customer) perspective and from the perspective of the operations itself?
3. Your work should be from 500 to 1000 words in total. Brevity is an important aspect of business writing and marks may be taken off for assignments longer than 1000 words.
