You will create a PowerPoint presentation through which you will apply the week's core ideas. I anticipate that these presentations will contain roughly 8 - 12 slides. Your task is to help a fictious organization understand how to apply the week's topic. For example, if your topic is Layout Strategy, you will draw from ideas in the textbook and any other assigned materials to provide guidance to the organization. You will suggest a best approach to layout for your organization. Because student organizations will vary somewhat (largely due to the communities in which they are located), I expect students to make different choices. Your project should reflect the business that YOU are working on. Don't be concerned with what other students might be doing. Fictitious Organization In week 1, you will describe to me your fictitious organization. In order for it to be relevant to each chapter's materials, I ask that it: Be a manufacturing business (but what you manufacture is up to you!) Employ more than 12 but fewer than 50 people.
