A project manager is preparing a charter for a project that will automate 18% of the testing work required for the project. The sponsor suggests that she gets input on from senior test engineers to identify tests that would be good candidates for automation. When she contacts the manager of the test group, she notices that he is being very uncooperative as he is concerned that test automation will result in downsizing of his department.
