Predicting winner of English premier league

Introduction: Football is one of the most interesting games played across the world. It creates a huge amount of passion in both the players and the viewers. This has led to a very strong competition in the matches. Ensuring success in the matches has become very important. The result of a football match is determined by the number of goals scored by the players in the match. Even a single goal shot at strategic times can influence the outcome of the game and the strategic environment in which the players interact (Palomino, et al., 2000). Thus, goal scoring forms a very significant part of football matches.
