At a small post office in the Los Angeles, patrons wait in line for the single service window. An average 12 patroons per hur randomly get into the line. Post office estimates a cost of $0.50 for each minute a patron waits in line due to possibly losing the customer in the fututre. It also estimates a cost of $30 per hr to keep the window open due to fixed costs. Post office models the winodw's service times as unifomrly disributed between 1 and 7 minutes. Compute the total expected hourly cost of this post office window.
